Use & Care

Lid Attachment

Make sure the lid is perfectly aligned with the screw thread. For optimal seal twist until indicators on lid and tumbler are aligned.

Condensation

My First Tervis™ sippy cup is double-wall insulated and will prevent condensation from forming under most conditions. However, on very humid days you may experience a small amount of condensation.

Hot Liquids

My First Tervis™ sippy cup can hold hot liquids, but we do not recommend microwaving liquid as it could burn your child. We recommend testing liquid temperature before giving to child. If you do warm liquids with a microwave, the My First Tervis™ sippy cup lid must be removed for safety.

Cold Liquids

You can refrigerate the My First Tervis™ sippy cup.

NOTE: We do not recommend using ice in My First Tervis™ sippy cup.

Carbonated and Pulpy Beverages

Carbonated beverages can generate pressure inside the My First Tervis™ sippy cup and may cause it to leak. Our sippy cup is not intended for carbonated or pulpy beverages. These types of beverages may impede performance of the lid valve. The My First Tervis™ sippy cup is intended for non-carbonated drinks such as water, milk and pulp-free juice
