Classic & Symglass Lifetime Guarantee

Covers Classic Tritan Tumblers, Venture™ Lite Water Bottles, Classic Tritan Mugs, and Tervis Symglass

Tervis stands behind everything we make. Our Lifetime Guarantee covers confirmed defects in material or workmanship on our classic double-wall plastic drinkware and our Tervis® Symglass collection - for as long as you own the product.

To keep your Classic Tumblers, Classic Mugs and Symglass drinkware in great condition, we recommend that you place drinkware on the top rack of your dishwasher or hand wash with warm water and soap. For more information on how to care for your Tervis, please see our Use & Care guidelines.

What's Covered

Eligible Products

Every eligible product has a Tervis logo molded into the bottom or side.

Covered Defects

The following manufacturing defects are covered:

Seal Failure

The inner wall separates from the outer wall, or moisture appears between the two walls.

Cracks

Cracking around the rim/opening or on the bottom of the product.

Emblem Failure

(Double-Walled Tritan Products Only)
The applied decoration has become detached from the inner wall.

What's Not Covered

Wear and Tear

Damage from improper care, abuse, or normal wear - including fading, scratching, film, fogging, staining, or heat distortion - is not covered.

Accessories

Lids, handles, straws, and other accessories are not covered under this Guarantee.

Damage Unrelated to Material or Workmanship

Damage caused by impact, force, or other external causes - for example a product that was dropped, crushed, or run over - is not a defect in material or workmanship and is not covered.

Hospitality/Commercial Use

Damage, defects or deterioration resulting from the use in hospitality, commercial, or other high-use environments.

Other Important Details

  • Tervis reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to limit or decline replacement based on return history or usage patterns inconsistent with normal personal use.
  • All replacement decisions are made at Tervis's sole discretion, and the product must be physically inspected by Tervis before a decision is made.
  • Products that don't qualify for replacement will be responsibly recycled. They will not be returned to you.

How to File a Guarantee Claim

  1. Check your product against the eligible products and covered defects listed above.
  2. Complete the online Guarantee Form (up to 6 products per submission).
  3. Print the form, pack it with your product(s), and ship using the instructions provided with the form.
  4. We'll email you a confirmation once we receive your claim, and again once it's been processed.
